Renoir |
Renoir is a stunning gray and white Harlequin, who was born in early 2011. She and her four kittens were living under a bus near Willow. She had been pitched out of her home when her owner died and the owner's relatives didn't want her. She had a litter of kittens, which a neighbor did her best to feed, despite her limited means. Rennie is laid back and friendly in a reserved way. She has her kitten and rabies shots and is dewormed, leukemia tested negative, and spayed. She's good with other cats and dogs. She is fostering near Palmer. She has medium-short hair. To learn more, contact Vicki at 982-2219, or ACAT at 982-2228. |

She is very talkative, keeps up a light 'trill' all day long, always asking "what are you doing?, where's my toy? is it time to eat yet?" while following you around. Found outdoors in the bitter cold as a stray she's quickly learning to enjoy the indoors and play nicely with her kitty and human friends. Call Linda at 688-4898 0r 632-4797 for info on how to visit Frostee. |

Monica is a dark gray and white female, so named for her harmonic voice. She is a large, friendly cat but has a lot of "catitude," and will do best in a home where there are no other cats. She is spayed and has all of her shots. She'd like a home tolerant of her catcentricities. She'll be homed for a low adoption fee. To meet Monica, contact Linda in Peters Creek at 688-4898 or ACAT at 982-2228. |

| ACAT's unaltered kittens 4 months and older are often discounted to make way for kittens waiting to come into foster care. Please inquire about our great 4-7-month-old kittens -- they have their kitten shots and some are already altered. They are loaded with fun, great for families with young children and better for people who are gone for long hours each day than a young kitten. It's also easier to tell the personality of an older kitten. To learn more, contact ACAT at 982-2228. | |
|
Siblings and kittens fostering together, and mom-kitten combos may be homed in pairs with special combo pricing. |
|
Special pricing on ACAT's unaltered kittens more than 14 weeks old and on black kittens. Call 982-2228 for details. |
|
| Alaska SPCA offers low-cost altering. Or, check out Alaska Dog & Puppy's monthly low-cost alter clinic schedule (typically the first Friday of each month). They do kitties, too. | |

He is tentative when he meets strangers, but is a very loving guy who likes to sit a shoulder or in a lap. How much are adoption fees? The usual adoption fee for a young, unaltered, nonblue-eyed kitten is $75. For ALL unaltered kittens, there is also the $50 spay/neuter deposit, which you will recoup when you have your kitten altered. Blue-eyed kittens are generally a $100 adoption fee. Older, unaltered kittens are less; altered kittens and adults are more. Featured cats and some other special felines are homed for a low adoption fee. Call for specific adoption fees on individual felines. Why pay for a kitten through an adoption group? There's no such thing as a "free" kitten. We start our kittens with dewormer, mite treatments and vaccinations. ACAT strives to get your feline off to a great start, including incurring some of those expenses you'd have to pay to raise a healthy kitten. You are also helping other cats and kittens. Our adoption fees not only help pay for the care of your kitten or cat, they help cover vet bills for ill or injured cats, and allow us to help spay the mothers of kittens we bring into foster care. By adopting through ACAT, you help reduce the cat overpopulation problem by committing to alter your kitten and helping to fund other alters. As a federally designated 501c3 nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers, all of the money raised through our fees and donations is used to help the cats. No one is paid and no money is used for other purposes. You can adopt and/or donate knowing the money is helping the kitties. |

Bonnie |
Clyde |
Bonnie and Clyde are a couple of wild little 'gangsters' found abandoned in a field. They were about 5 weeks old then and are slowly coming around to being socialized. Both are sweet and loving, purring nicely with a quiet, gentle touch. They are polydactals and Clyde, particularly, has huge back feet. Bonnie is a beautiful orange tabby female, with extra toes on all four feet. She has an exceptionally soft coa. Bonnie is a playful little sweetheart, drools when she is petted and loves to hang out with her brother Clyde.
We estimate their date of birth around Aug. 30, both have had their kitten vaccines, been dewormed and checked for earmites. They are closely bonded and would do well as a pair. If you have the time and patience to continue working with them, we believe you will have two loyal, loving feline companions! Call Linda at 688-4898 or ACAT at 982-2228. |
|
| Please remember ACAT will not adopt kittens until about 10 weeks of age and at least 2.25 pounds. This is for the health and well-being of the kitten. You can, however, reserve younger kittens by placing a deposit. Deposits can be made in person or through Paypal online. Deposits are nonrefundable. | |

Hansel |
![]() Gretel |
| Hansel and Gretel were rescued from a bad situation in Houston. They were born about July 3. Hansel has nice sleek, long hair and a perfect tuxedo coat. He's had his kitten vaccines as well as rabies and is neutered and microchipped too! It would be nice if he went with Gretel but I think he could be fine on his own. Gretel, a dilute tortie, is a very active little "fox," always running around looking for a mouse or ball to chase, and LOVES feathers/bells on a stick! She is slowly coming around to being petted. She and Hansel are very patient about sitting for their snacks. She is a fun little character, may never become a lap cat but will always be entertaining. She and Hansel make a nice complementary pair. They are altered. They foster in Peters Creek. Call Linda at 688-4898 or ACAT at 982-2228. | |

Manet gets along with the fosters' 2 female cats and dog, and did fine with a previous fosters' dogs and male cats. Manet is very talkative, loves to be cuddled, enjoys to be softly rubbed all over her body (even on her belly). Manet is on her way to being a lap cat as she will fall asleep on your chest. Manet is good with being combed and having her nails clipped. Manet is a sweet little girl who is slowly coming around to being socialized. She loves to be loved and will need a patience as change scares her. She's fine with older kittens and cats and with dogs. She will need a patient home as change frightens her. Her mother (Renoir) leukemia tested negative. For more information, contact Henry at 688-1029, Vicki at 982-2219 or ACAT at 982-2228. |
|
Picasso |
Picasso is handsome neutered male long-haired polydactal, all white but two spot on his head and a tabby tail. He's an energetic guy and the bruiser of the litter, which includes Monet and Manet, born in mid August. His mom is Renoir. He is crazy for balls and treats. For more information, contact Vicki at 982-2219 or ACAT at 982-2228. |
| Monet is a light gray and white spayed female medium-to-long haired polydactal kitten. She enjoys playing with toys and wrestling with her siblings. She is fine with dogs but a bit tentative with people. Born in mid August, she is a sibling of Monet and Picasso, and the kitten of Renoir. For more information, contact Vicki at 982-2219 or ACAT at 982-2228. |
Monet |
| The group of kittens above -- Monet, Manet, Picasso, a sister since homed, and their mother, Renoir -- were living under a bus near Houston. The woman living in the bus could barely meet her own needs but shared what she could with the cat family, which was rescued and brought into foster care in early November. The kittens were likely born in mid August. Their mother, Renoir, is leukemia-tested negative, making the kittens quite certainly free of that disease. They are all fine with other cats and dogs. They are all altered. For more information, contact Vicki at 982-2219 or ACAT at 982-2228. | |

Watson |
Tova is a shy torby kitten and does not do well with loud noises or kids. For the most part she keeps to herself and loves hiding. She is hard to catch but has never bitten or scratched. She doesn't love being held but she will put up with it. She loves playing with the other cats and gets very curious. She does very well with Bagheera, an adult foster cat, and has a very close bond with her. She has been around our dogs and doesn't seem to mind them. She adjusts very well with animals but not as well with people. With patience and earning her trust she would make a great family member. She was part of a litter living under the roof of a house. She is fostering in Anchorage. Contact Rachelle at 720-5049 or ACAT at 982-2228. |

She is dewormed and started on shots. She is fostering in Wasilla. For details, contact Trish at 357-3560 or ACAT at 982-2228. |

Two-Spot (think Two Socks from the movie Dances with Wolves) just might be second or third in birth order in this litter of eight. Born Nov. 16, he is all boy, energetic, demanding, and shows exuberant affection if he loves you. The two dark spots on his nose make him truly unique, and his personality says "Take Me, Take Me!" in capital letters. Your life will definitely be fun with this kid, and we truly hope to hear from you as he grows up. |
This group of kittens, born Nov. 16, is just about ready to begin moving into their forever homes. They are bundles of personality, good with other cats and learning about dogs. They are started on shots and dewormed. Contact Doug and Marli Holden at 631-3249 or ACAT at 982-2228. |
Ragamuffin is the second silliest kitten on the planet. She looks like someone just threw her together, and left a light-colored spot under her nose. With her long hair, white feet and gorgeous "bib", and a combination of Standard (stripes) and Classic (circles on her side), Ragamuffin fits her to a T. Yet this youngster has stolen my heart, as she will yours, with her loving and funny personality. Born Nov. 16, and probably third or fourth in birth order, whomever gets this gem will never regret it. Contact Doug and Marli Holden at 631-3249 or ACAT at 982-2228. |
No-Spot (reference Two-Spot above) has no spots on his nose. He outweighs everyone else, has a glorious gray and white coat that is symetrical in its Tuxedo markings. Even the distinctive white lines across the outside of his legs is even, and his personality speaks to his being head (or next to) of the pack. Secure in who he is, No-Spot gets along with all other cats and kittens, and may eventually get used to being around a non-agressive dog. Keep this boy active and healthy, and you'll have a wonderful friend for life. He was born Nov. 16. |
Rumplestiltzkin was named because she was a rumpled mess as a tiny kitten. She has surprised us all by growing into a gloriously long-haired Russian Blue girl. She's a love of a kitten, and if our Russian Blue girl is any indicator, will have a luxurious coat as she grows up. Quiet and reserved, Rumples definitely needs a new name, but we will always remember that rumpled mess. She gets along with everyone, even an older dog in our home. Russians don't usually like much change, or the cold, so please keep that in mind when you take her home. She was born Nov. 16. Contact Doug and Marli Holden at 631-3249 or ACAT at 982-2228. |
Pretty Boy started out as Pretty Girl, but made a life-change somewhere along the line. He actually weighs less than the bigger kids in this litter of eight. His long-haired coat is an exotic mix of Standard and Classic Tabby, pure white Tuxedo markings, and a voice that doesn't hesitate to tell you what he wants. A bit of a tattletale, he is a wonderful kid who loves to cuddle and be petted and pampered. If he chooses you as his forever humans, you will have been blessed with a truly amazing kitten. He was born Nov. 16. |
Salem is a talker when he wants to be loved on. He loves to be held and played with. He likes playing with strings and anything that makes a crinkle sound. Contact Rachelle at 720-5049 or ACAT at 982-2228. |
Spook is the biggest of her siblings and is the most independent. She loves wrestling the older foster kittens and playing with mom's tail. She also loves attention when she asks for it of course. See details below. |
